Senegal midfielder, Idrissa Gana Gueye, has made it clear to the Three Lions of England that the Teranga Lions intend to go all the way in this year’s World Cup.
He gave the warning ahead of both teams’ round of 16 fixture billed to take place on Sunday, December 4, at the Al Bayt Stadium.
Senegal and England booked their places in the World Cup last 16 after beating Ecuador and Wales, respectively, on Tuesday evening.
According to Gana, Senegal want to progress beyond the first round of the knockout stages and therefore have no limits in the competition.

Speaking after Senegal’s victory over Ecuador, he said at his post-match press conference, “The last 16 is not the objective. We see beyond that. We have no limits. We have a squad to go far. Playing like this, we can do something really interesting in this competition.”
He was not alone, his captain, Kalidou Koulibaly ahead of the England clash, also asserted that the African champions fear no one.
He said, “Don’t party, don’t be happy. We did something good, but it’s only the beginning. England or whoever, we’ll do everything to win the game. We are Senegal, we fear no-one. Lot’s of teams don’t want to play against us.”
