Stella Damasus opens up on why her 3rd marriage crashed

Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan, who got married in 2014 went their separate ways in 2020 after celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary

Popular Nigerian actress and singer, Stella Damasus has admitted that some of the errors she made in her third marriage played a part in the failure of the union. 

Damasus made the revelation about her marital life in the latest episode of her eponymous podcast while advising women on the red flags to look out for before tying the knot with any man.

The 44-year-old thespian, while explaining how she became the victim of a failed marriage, said she fell victim to her own bias.

According to Damasus, she thought her partner was her soulmate, hence she interpreted events the way they suited her 

She said, “I’ve heard experiences with dreams and visions that I choose how I want to interpret it to suit what I want, to give me the answers that I want. It has happened to me. I thought this person was my soulmate.

“He does the same thing that I do. We were both intelligent.

“Everything is falling into place, we are so similar we have the same kind of vision. We talk the same we do the same. Last last e don cast, everybody will still chop breakfast.

“I’ve been there, I’ve made that same mistake, and guess what, I suffered for it. Don’t do that.”

Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan, who got married in 2014, went their separate ways in 2020, after celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary. 

The union was the actress’s third marriage after her first husband Jaiyejeje Aboderin died in 2004, and the marriage to her second husband, Emeka Nzeribe also lasted just seven months before a divorce.
