Raph Niyi added that he has given the blackmailer the go-ahead to release the tape, as he was unwilling to pay the ransom

Nollywood actor, Raph Niyi has taken to social media to inform the public and his fans that a blackmailer is on his trail and threatening to leak his tape.
Raph Niyi, who acts mostly in Yoruba movies, took to his official Instagram page to disclose the blackmailer, threatening to release his nude tape online if he refuses to pay a ransom.
The actor went on to say he suspects that the blackmailer is a part of his team.
In his words: “It is with a heavy heart that I come to you to tell you that I have a blackmailer on my team who is claiming to have a copy of probably a video of me. And for three days now he has been threatening to go online if I don’t give him something.”

He also said he has given him the go-ahead to release whatever he has on him, as he was not ready to pay, thanking his friends and family, with whom he claimed he has already discussed the matter for their support and encouragement.
“I am not one that will give in to blackmail, I have told him to go ahead. I have already spoken to a couple of friends and I want to thank them for giving me words of encouragement, my wife, my family already I told them when this happened so please I just want to let you know.
“It is a perilous time out there. People are doing anything just to get money. In my line of work, anything can happen. I make videos. If by omission or commission, happen to get my nude, and then you are now saying you want money with it, I don’t think it will happen with me.“ Raph Niyi added.
Niyi started his acting career in 2003 and has been featured in movies and TV series alike.
