VIDEO: University don gangs up with family members to beat up 20-year-old lady who drags boyfriend with his daughter

Ayokhai and members of his family reportedly took Mathias to an unknown location, beat her up and then stripped her over a feud with Ella, his daughter.

The Nasarawa State Police Command says two suspects have been arrested in connection with a case of assault on a 20-year-old lady, Blessing Mathias. 

According to a viral video of the incident, the assault was spearheaded by Dr Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, a senior lecturer in the department of History at the Federal University Lafia (FULAFIA).

Ayokhai and members of his family reportedly took Blessing Mathias to an unknown location, beat her up and then stripped her over a feud with Ella, his daughter.

A Twitter user, @Postsubman, said Blessing Mathias and Ella were having a feud over a man, and it resulted in a physical brawl. 

The lecturer and his entire family yesterday, October 21, then  join forces with Ella to brutalize and strip the 20-year old girl for fighting their daughter. 

After the video of the assault went viral, the Nasarawa Police said it had arrested two for assault on Blessing Mathias.

The command said that the vehicle used during the assault had also been recovered while other suspects are still at large.

This was made known via their Twitter handle on Saturday.

“Sequel to the viral tweet of assault on a female teenager in Lafia, Nasarawa state, the Command swiftly commenced an investigation into the case. It is gratifying to state that, two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case while the vehicle used in conveying the victim to an undisclosed location where she was assaulted has been recovered. Effort is ongoing to arrest the remaining suspects still at-large,” they tweeted.
