Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, the mother of Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is dead.
This was disclosed this morning through a statement made available to TheNiche by the chief press secretary (CPS) to the governor, Richard Olatunde.
According to him, the governor’s mother died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning at the age of 90.

She is survived by the Ondo state governor, his other siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
Olatunde also added that further announcements on the matter will be made available to the public by the family in due course.
The statement reads, “The mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu is dead.
“She died peacefully in her sleep early this morning. Mama was 90 years.
“She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
“Further announcements will be made by the family in due course.”
