Nigerian actor and movie producer, Yul Edochie, has labelled the ongoing challenge on social media, mocking the outfit of the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, as a misplaced priority.
The former Borno State governor, represented his principal, Bola Tinubu, the APC flag bearer in the upcoming 2023 presidential election at the NBA conference in Lagos on Monday, August 22.
However, his dress combination, which was deemed to be below par began to trend on all social media platforms, as Nigerians on Tuesday started the #ShettimaChallenge to recreate the outfit.

According to the actor, the challenge is a misplaced priority, wondering why Nigerians are bothered about how a politician dressed amid the numerous challenges facing the nation.
He tweeted, “Nigerians & misplaced priorities. They’ll never trend important issues, only frivolities. Who cares about Shettima’s dressing?
“If the next President of Nigeria can fix the country, secure it and make Nigeria work. He can be wearing only boxers and a singlet to work. Who cares?”
