Tems, who recently won two BET Awards in the Best International Act and the Best Collaboration took to her Twitter page to share photos of the music studio where she recorded her first extended play (EP) record, ‘For Broken Ears’.

The now-viral pictures revealed what looked like a makeshift studio which contained a long table, black chair, nap sacks, a laptop, and some musical equipment such as keyboard, drum, and speakers.

In the post, Tems asserted she began from the studio which she tagged ‘Trenches’, she also revealed other parts of the ‘studio’ in other photos displayed.

Captioning two separate posts,  she wrote: “Where I made FOR BROKEN EARS.” and “Trenches is a real place.”

Even though the music star seems to want to seize the opportunity to show that things were not always rosy, glitzy, and glamorous, some of her fans disagreed.

A number of the netizens who reacted to her posts argued that she got the meaning of ‘trenches’ all wrong and that the ‘studio’ she called humble abode was not as bad as she thought.
