Jide Kosoko, a fellow veteran Nollywood actor, joined other younger colleagues in sending birthday wishes to ace actor, Olu Jacobs

Nollywood legend, Olu Jacobs will turn 80 on Monday, July 11, but many celebrities and colleagues have started pouring encomiums on him, while some displayed his pictures on social media too.
The thespians, on Monday, took to their Instagram pages to celebrate the seasoned actor, who has starred in many Nigerian and British TV series and movies.
It all began when his actress wife, Joke Silva, hinted at his 80th birthday celebration on her Instagram page, sharing a throwback picture of the actor on the microblogging platform.
The veteran actress captioned the photo, ” “Who has the foggiest idea who this handsome young man is? #80th birthday loading.”

The image was later reposted on Olu Jacob’s official Instagram page.
Following her revelation, numerous movie stars joined in the celebration of their senior and respected colleague on their social media pages.
Fellow veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, wrote, “Happy birthday Sir Olu Jacobs.”
Yup Edochie also eulogised him, he said, “When I started my acting career in 2005, one of my biggest wishes was to be on set with the Legendary Uncle Olu Jacobs. I finally got that opportunity many times and I learnt so much from him. And I’ll forever be grateful.
“A very happy 80th birthday to you Sir. May God be with you always. We love you.”
Another thespian, Femi Adebayo celebrated him on Instagram as he wrote, “I celebrate a living legend of arts and entertainment on his 80th birthday. Pa Olu Jacobs is a leading light for many of us thriving in the trade of creativity.
“It is our prayers that God continues to bless your household exceedingly. Happy birthday icon.”
Similarly, actor Uzee Uzman, wrote, “Old age is a blessing, grey hair is a rare privilege only few get to enjoy.
“Happy birthday to one of Nollywood’s finest, a living legend, and an award-winning actor, Daddy Olu Jacobs. May God continue to bless you with good health and wellness. I celebrate you, Daddy.”
Saheed Balogun, who joined others in addressing him as ‘legend’ said, “Happy birthday to our greatest legend, Daddy Olu Jacobs, we are really proud of you Daddy.”
