Ace Nigerian singer and founder of Mo’ Hits Records, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known as D’banj is about to appear in a movie for the first time, as new film ‘Symphony’ is set to premiere.
Symphony, a musical blockbuster movie with a focus on youth and music, is set to hit cinemas on the 9th of September, 2022.
The beautiful movie is a well-told story of life, love, dreams, success, trials, societal failure, and the resultant effects, it also reflects the travails of a typical talented African youth, struggling to overcome odds and breakthrough.

The film which was shot in exotic locations across Lagos featured an array of thespians and celebrities across Africa such as ace Nigerian singer, D’banj, Ghanaian movie star, Jackie Appiah; popular Kenyan singer, Tanasha Donna, and Nollywood legends and stars like Lanre Hassan, a.k.a Iya Awero, Kalu Ikeagu, Efa Iwara, Scarlet Gomez, Doris Okorie, among others.
Kaleb Iyoha popularly called Mo’Kross and Sandra Okunzuwa played Slade and Lolita, the lead roles, while D’banj and Tanasha Donna made their acting debuts in ‘Symphony’.
The movie jointly produced by EverRise Entertainment and Sulcata Entertainment also featured another debutant, Victor Adeshiyan a.k.a. VJ CrazyLife, who played Slade’s bosom friend.
The director of the movie, Oraka Nnanyelu, described the movie as a “beautifully crafted, priceless work of art that mirrors the everyday life of the African youth’s journey to relevance.”
