Fani-Kayode says Tinubu played God with his rant in Abeokuta

Without mentioning Tinubu’s name, Fani-Kayode said: “God alone is God. He alone gives power. He alone takes the glory for who or what we are or become tomorrow. When a mere mortal says “I made you” it is an affront to God.”

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken a swipe at Lagos strongman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying he plays God with his outburst in Abeokuta.

Tinubu is one of the frontliners for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket.

Recall that Tinubu had said: “He tried first time and failed. He tried second time and failed. He tried third time and failed. He even cried on television that he will never run for president. I went to meet him and told him this is not a crying matter: we will support you and you will be president.”

But in a tacit response to Tinubu’s vituperations, Fani-Kayode said such a boast is an affront to God.
