Nigerian actor and renowned voice over artiste, Johnson Davidson has died.
He died on Thursday, June 2, after a protracted battle with kidney failure, and other illnesses, which ultimately claimed his life.
Davidson, while alive, was the brain behind Heavy Metal Studios, an indigenous and globally focused audio visuals company, established in February 2004.

The details of his death are still sketchy. However, one of his close friends, who helped in raising funds for his treatment, Zubby Enebeli, broke the sad news on his Facebook page.
He wrote, “Rest in Peace, Heavy Metal, Rest in Peace, Good Man, Rest in Peace, Johnson Davidson, It is well.”
In another post, singer, Paul Play Dairo revealed that the artiste has been on dialysis for over 8 months” and that efforts made by friends and family were beginning to whittle down due to the huge cost.
Davidson was in his 50s and reportedly married and blessed with children. He will be remembered for his role in the popular Nollywood movie ‘Domitila’.
His death comes just a few days after the passing of another Nollywood actor, Osmond Gbadebo who died on Monday, May 30.
