Comic actor and popular skit maker, Debo Adedayo, known by his stage name, Mr Macaroni, has named Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s government the worst in the history of Lagos State
Macaroni made the assertion on Monday, May 23, via his Twitter handle, while recounting his ordeal during the End SARS protests in 2021.
The 29-year-old recalled how he and others were brutalised, dehumanised, and killed during the encounter, and noted it all happened under the watch of the governor.

He wrote, “Na under this government dem kill innocent protesters!! It was under this same government that I and others were brutalized and dehumanized.
“Police dey beat me dey even ask me say why I dey disturb Mr Governor, so again, I say, this is the worst government Lagos state has had!!! “
Mr Macaroni, who is an activist, is known to be vocal against the injustices in Nigeria and was actively involved in the rally at Lekki toll gate during the End SARS protest in Lagos State.
He and others were arrested by policemen deployed to the Lekki tollgate, ahead of the #OccupyLekkiTollGate and #DefendLagos protests.
The comedian later claimed that the policemen threatened to kill him while in their custody.
