Kemi Adetiba hails Tuface, Simi after singing at her wedding

Kemi Adetiba described Tuface’s performance as evergreen, while also praising Simi for a magical rendition of her song ‘Duduke’

Nigerian filmmaker and television director Kemi Adetiba has praised the legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as Tuface after he put up a captivating performance at her wedding.

TheNiche earlier reported that Kemi Adetiba and her Ghanaian music executive heartthrob, Oscar Heman-Ackah walked down the aisle on Saturday 23rd April, displaying different cultural outfits.

Taking to her Instagram page to express appreciation, the Film producer shared a video of Tuface’s performance at the event, stating that the ace singer’s performance will forever be in her memory.

According to Kemi Adetiba, to say the performance was special doesn’t even describe it and couldn’t have been more perfect.

In her words: “To be serenaded during our first dance by the legend that is @official2baba is truly something we shall remember till we’re old and Grey. SPECIAL doesn’t quite describe it either. It couldn’t have been more perfect. THANK YOU 2baba.”

She also eulogised another singer, Simi, who also performed at her wedding, stating that she has always been a fan of hers and that her performance was ‘magical’. 

She added, “Now, @oscarhemanackah knows how much I love the gorgeous “DUDUKE” song, performed by the amazingly talented @symplysimi. In fact, the song plays an integral part of our journey to now, so having you, Simi, take time out to personally remind us with a special performance was just MAGICAL Thank you, Simi”.
