Two persons are reportedly feared dead as members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) clashed at the Abule-Egba, Ekoro Road, Meiran area of Lagos State.
Information reaching TheNiche reveals that the clash was between the loyalists of the leader of the Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOAN), Azeez Abiola, popularly known as Istijaba, and the suspended state chairman of NURTW, Musiliu Adesanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo. They have been at loggerheads over the failure of the Tricycle Association to remit funds to MCOluomo.

An eye witness who called on the masses to stay away from the axis while the fracas lasted, added that two persons had died from the clash.
An eyewitness who prefers anonymity said that the clash started early in the morning on Friday and that the place had been deserted.
According to him, one of her neighbours got injured while scampering for safety from the sporadic gunshots that overwhelmed the area
