Mexico who are representing North America at the World Cup are drawn in Group C with Qatar, Argentina, Poland, and Saudi Arabia

Nigeria’s male national team will clash with The Tricolor of Mexico in a friendly match arranged to prepare the North Americans for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the world soccer fiesta but The Mexicans are among the 29 national teams that have already secured their spots at the Mundial.
While Mexico qualified alongside the United States of America and Canada from the North America region, Nigerians will have to cheer either Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Senegal, or Tunisia, who are the African flagbearers at the tournament.

Nigeria failed to qualify on away goal rule after earning a 2-2 aggregate scoreline from the double-header encounter in Ghana in Kumasi and Abuja.
The Gerardo Martino-led Tricolor will face the Super Eagles in September as part of four friendly games lined up to fine-tune the team for the World Cup, according to Medio Tiempo.
Mexico are drawn in the same group as the host Qatar, South American powerhouse, Argentina, European dark horse Poland, and Asian representative Saudi Arabia.
