Fans worried about Genevieve Nnaji after posting disturbing messages on IG

Ace Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji has shared a message on social media,   which many netizens and her followers have interpreted as a disturbing post.

The 42-year-old movie star shared the post via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 17, 2022.

In the post, she shared a Muslim prayer mat and the Quran, before quoting a text from the holy book.

“This (dunya) is not real. It’s just a dream,” she also wrote

Genevieve went on to share the quotation from the Quran, which she has posted as a text in another video.

“Every soul will taste death. Pray before you are prayed upon.” She captioned the video. 

The post comes days after the Nollywood actress shared another Instagram post on her page concerning mental and physical health.

She said, “Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicate your life to the God you serve. Get rebaptised.”

The online community has connected her two posts and concluded the thespian must be going through some mental health challenges and urged her to seek help. 

Genevieve Nnaji has paid in the Nigerian and African movie scenes, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, making her the first recipient of the award.

 She was also honoured as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by the federal government for her strides in the Nigerian movie industry in 2011.
