Reno Omokri said those who arrested Christ could not differentiate Him from His disciples because He did not dress better

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on social media, has advised general overseers (GOs) of churches to shun showoff and emulate Jesus Christ.
In a post on Twitter, Reno Omokri reminded wealth flaunting pastors that Jesus Christ lived a simple lifestyle to the extent that the soldiers who came for his arrest required the services of Judas Iscariot to identify him from his disciples.
Omokri asked the various Daddy GOs and Mummy GOs if by their appearances they have not set themselves apart from others, and fail the humility test of being Christ followers
Omokri’s tweet reads: “Dear Daddy and Mummy GOs,Note that those who arrested Christ could not differentiate Him from His disciples because He did not dress better, or used a better vehicle than them. He blended in. They needed Judas to differentiate who He was. Can this be said of you?”

Reno Omokri’s tweet elicited varied reactions.
@oscarchukwudi16 said: “Sir please we don’t need this now, the world is really turning around, a lot of things are happening, nothing concern Christ and this one.”
@Daddyfredodo also said: “We have churches where the congregation own cars, houses and businesses far greater than the pastor’s own, but yoh wouldn’t see all that.”
He added: “Yes sir, Jesus asked his disciple to bring a donkey for him, he rode the donkey, while people laid mats, palm leaves, cloths on the ground. You don’t have to be dirty or look shabby to represent God. If a pastor rides a good car, it’s because God answered his prayers.”
