The 25-year-old Iwobi also said they will not underrate the Falcons of Sudan or allow complacency to set in when they clash with them today.

The Super Eagles star noted that the team is psyched up after beating Egypt, who is the toughest opposition in their group but added that they will not take Sudan for granted.

Iwobi while speaking to NFF TV, said: “Personally, I am always ready no matter what game it is. Obviously, it is a big competition and we have already made our mark in the first game, but we can’t be complacent.

We are going to give the same desire that we showed in the first game and hopefully get the result we need.

“The team is really psyched up, especially after that first performance, but we are not going to rest on our laurels, so we are going to keep going.

“We are hungry and we want to prove a point in this tournament.

“The only assurance I’m going to give is that we are going to give one hundred percent and fight for our country.”

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Sudan today at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua in Cameroon by 5 pm.
