“Super Eagles have a good team but we would do our best to defeat them.

“Both teams have good players, they have the chance to win. We will do our best to win tomorrow.”

Egypt are being coached at this tournament by the vastly experienced  Portuguese  coach Carlos Queiroz  who   feels his side can beat Nigeria.

“We are ready and eagerly waiting for the start of the journey,” the 68-year-old Queiroz who once assisted  former Manchester United  coach Sir Alex Fergusson said,  “ Everyone is ready to give their best. We will face a team that has many great players, but we are ready and we will face them with full force.”
