Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot, to Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

He might have also reversed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s decision to allow Dalot to leave the club or go out on loan.

Diogo Dalot, appeared surplus to requirements under Solskjaer, as he was rarely used, he also fell far behind Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the pecking order of who starts at right-back for the club.

He spent last season out on loan with AC Milan and was expected to go out again this season, but the arrival of the 63-year-old German seems to have put paid to the speculation.

According to reports in Corriere Dello Sport via Sport Witness, a move for Dalot is no longer certain, with Rangnick’s preference of the player over Wan-Bissaka.

Diogo Dalot has played every Premier League minute since the arrival of Rangnick, while Wan-Bissaka now appears to be below him in the pecking order.

Meanwhile, Brentford were expected to host Man United, who are currently in 5th place at the Brentford Community Stadium today, but the match has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
