Since the Boko Haram embarked on its murderous campaigns in 2009, it has left in its trail, blood and sorrow. In carrying out its attacks, worship centres, schools, markets, hospitals and other soft targets are not spared.

Earlier on Saturday, at least four different explosions were recorded in some communities of Gomari ward and 1,000 Housing Estate in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, when the terrorists struck.

Reports indicated that the explosions, suspected to have been masterminded by members of the extremist Islamic sect, fired rockets at different directions, forcing troops and Air Force Task Team to engage them.
