Leicester dominated the game but could not make their advantage count as they were only able to muster a single shot on target in the first half of the encounter.

Nigeria’s Victor Moses put the visitors ahead in the 51st minute after he scored from a pass from Mikhail Ignatov to make it 1-0 to Spartak Moscow

Ghanian defender, Daniel Amartey equalized for Leicester City in the 58th minute after heading home a flick by Ayoze Perez.

Jamie Verdy missed an opportunity to put Leicester ahead in the 75th minute when his penalty was saved by Alexander Selikhov, after Victor Moses brought down Ademola Lookman in the penalty box.

Leicester must now win the next game against the group leader, Napoli, as they are currently third on the log behind Napoli, and Legia Warsaw.
