Edo PDP holds expanded stakeholders meeting

The Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will today, Saturday, October 2, 2021, hold an expanded stakeholders meeting in Benin City. 

In a statement by the State Secretary, PDP, Edo State, Hillary Otsu, invitation was extended to 233 stakeholders in the party, including Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki; his deputy, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, and other top party leaders in the state. 

He noted, “Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State are hereby notified that there would be an expanded stakeholders meeting of the party on Saturday, October 2nd 2021. 

Some of the stakeholders expected at this meeting include Chief Raymond Dokpesi; Mike Oghiadomhe; Chief Dan Orbih; Hajia Hadiza Umoru; Chief Tom Ikimi; Herbeta Okonofua Ayu and Chief Lucky Igbinedion, a former governor of Edo State.

Other stakeholders include Edo State PDP Chairman, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi; former and serving Senators; former and serving House of Representatives members; among others. 

The State Secretary, PDP, Edo State, said the venue of the meeting will be the New Festival Hall, in Government House, GRA, Benin City, Edo State, by 1:00pm prompt. 

“All party members should kindly note that this meeting would be attended strictly by invitation to be sent to each attendee by the State Secretary of the party,” he noted.
