Housemates and fans of Big Brother Nigeria season 6 “Shine Ya Eye” edition, have rated the relationship between Emmanuel, the 24-year-old model and reigning Mr Africa, and Liquorose, the 26-year-old professional dancer, as the best of all romantic entanglements in the house this season.
So close are the two love birds that they share the same bed, do a lot of things together and are constantly seen together. They are currently the reigning Head of House (HOH) and Deputy, Head of House, meaning they occupy the HOH room together.
Despite all of these, Emmanuel seems to have a wandering eye and can’t wait for the programme to end before pursuing his love interest, one of the youngest and most controversial housemate, Angel, whom he once told, hat he would love to spend time with outside the house.
Viewers of the TV reality show will remember that Angel, once told some of her fellow housemates that the relationship between Emmanuel and Liquorose is one sided and that he is not deserving of her, because he constantly makes romantic advances at her.
While having a conversation yesterday, and in what appears to be clear disrespect for her woman, Emmanuel, once again, told Angel that he wants her because she’s a smart girl.
Angel, who noticed he does look at her in the eye while talking, had asked why it’s hard for him to do so anytime they are having a conversation.
Emmanuel replied saying she ought to know why, and went further to say he cannot say much because of his current position in the house.
“You know you have a very interesting personality and I want you because you’re smart. I’m usually attracted to smart girls.
“I’ve got an eye on you trust me but I can’t say much for now,” he said.
Angel responded, saying he should spell out his intentions, but agreed she knows why he doesn’t want to speak while they are still in the house.
“You have to tell me why you’ve got an eye on me or I won’t stop asking you,” she said.
With this conversation, it is obvious where Emmanuel’s heart truly belongs and he seem not to be bothered about the fact that Angel , is a controversial figure , who has had romantic entanglements with three other men in the house and a quite flirtatious individual, who claimed to have kissed all the men in the house except two.
Though Liquorose, may not be aware of Emmanuel’s romantic gesture towards Angel, she seem to know her man a little, because she told Big Brother in one of her dairy sessions, that she is approaching her relationship with Emmanuel cautiously because she does not want her heart broken.
According to her , she doesn’t not consider herself as being in a relationship with Emmanuel, despite the fact that they are attracted to each. She concluded, such attitude will help her focus more on the money to be won and guide her heart against heartbreak.
While the unfolding drama continues, lovers of the reality show will be curious to know how the emerging love triangle ends. They will also want to see if Emmanuel, can keep his love interest and secret admiration of Angel, from Liquorose.
