According to a statement by Hajiya Amina Umar Abdullahi, who signed a statement on behalf of the Registrar, Mallam Jamil Salim, the screening, which will replace the aptitude test previously conducted by the university, applies to all the candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) who chose the institution as the first choice.

BUK pegs 220 and above for programmes in the Faculties of Clinical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences, while Faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry and Law have their cut off points from 200 and above.

The statement also said the school has approved 180 cut-off marks for programmes in other faculties which are Agriculture, Arts and Islamic Studies, Basic Medical Sciences, Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Education and Engineering.

Others are Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social Sciences.

According to the statement, the online screening will commence on September 3, 2021, and close on September 18, 2021.
