It was another dreaded eviction night in the Big Brother Nigeria Season 6 “Shine Ya Eye” edition on Sunday.

The host of the show, Ebuka, started the night by bringing viewers up to speed with happenings in the House during the week.

After the nomination on Monday, six housemates were put up for possible eviction by their colleagues and these housemates are JMK, Queen, Sammie, Maria, Pere and Peace.

The Head of House, Liquorose, however, saved Peace, and replaced her with Cross.

The 23-year-old lawyer from Kwara State, JMK, was the first casualty of eviction on the night and on getting to the live eviction stage, she said she was happy to have had the opportunity to be one of the housemates.

When showed the list of housemates that nominated her, she told the host, she was not surprised because they were the ones she bonded with the least while in the house.

Sammie, the housemate from Kogi State, who lives in Kaduna State, was the second housemate to be evicted.

When asked about the state of his relationship with Angel, whom he had a short romantic affair with before parting ways, he said they agreed to become friends for now.

When Maria’s name came up as the third and the final housemate to leave the show on the night, emotion ran deep among the housemates, as some of her friends bursted into tears.

Maria, who was obviously shocked, told the show host that though she knew there was a remote chance of her leaving, she was still shocked to have been voted out by the fans of the show.

With three more housemates leaving the house tonight, the number of contestants have further reduced from 20 to 17 housemates.

Attention will now shift to the Head of House task and nomination of housemates for possible eviction on Monday.
