The debate is raging on social media about the 21-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu arrested over the death of Super TV owner, Usifo Ataga.

Several photos and videos of her lifestyle has stirred debate on social media.

One of such videos was shared by a former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, on his Twitter showing Chidinma puffing smoke. He accompanied it with the comment: “The real Chidinma Ojukwu! This says it all.”

It is not clear if what she was puffing was a cigar or SK, a kind of smoke she said got her high on the fateful day of the violence that led to Ataga’s death.

A tweet from the handle @letter_to_Jack said: “Okay, an adult smoking in a video? Wow terrifying. What does that add or subtract from the fact that Chidinma is a murderer? She is a killer and she should rot in jail for that but what’s the correlation between Smoking and Innocence or guile? What’s the point of this video?”

@BornoFire10 suggested: “This girl might be passing through some stress in life possibly depression or…”

@Donmike54142183 believes that the fault lies with parents. “FFK i think most parents in Nigeria today have lost that touch and training with their children. Many parents now want to westernize their children and forgot that we,r Africans.”

@JideOlubiyi said: “Stop this pettiness. Smoking isn’t a crime, but a choice to self-destruct in installments. Her life up till that fateful crime was not criminal… Stop the distraction. People smoking go still reach Heaven before many holier-than-thous.”

@ebubemira argued: “95% guys here saying smoking is not bad will not allow their sisters to smoke or marry a girl that smoke we should call a Spade a Spade.”
