President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed a new acting Inspector-General of Police,. He is Usman Alkali Baba.
The appointment follows the retirement of Mohammed Adamu from service after exceeding the mandatory retirement age of 35 since February.
Until his appointment, Baba was the DIG Finance and Administration.
