Gunmen have abducted Shiyona Baptist Church pastor, Rev. Yohanna Gyang Bitrus, in Ugwan Saye, Yakila community in Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State.
The abduction, according to sources, stormed the community occurred at about 2pm yesterday and headed directly to the pastor’s house and took him away.
The abductors, had few hours after the pastor was abducted, got in touch with the family and demanded for N60 million random, a family source said.
It was however not possible to know if any money has been advanced to the kidnappers as at the time of this report.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Wasiu Abiodun, said that he would get back to the reporter when he gets details of the incident.
