A new group has emerged on Twitter – Stingy Men Association (SMA), to deny women the luxury of taking their cash undeservedly.
The group has one of Nigeria’s most eligible bachelors, Don Jazzy, as a member.
Don Jazzy is a Nigerian singer and record producer. He announced his membership of the group today, January 11, on Twitter where members of the group banded.
Another member of the group, Deji Adeyanju, has jokingly announced that the group would physically meet at the Unity Fountain in Abuja where members are expected to come along with their refreshment and seats.
The Stingy Men Association is a social media hashtag that was created by users of the microblogging platform to make light of some societal issues.
The purpose of the group on its twitter handle reads: “We are not stingy for no purpose, we just have relatives and family that need our help more. …We gonna fix home before we impress the street.”
Women have also reacted to the Stingy Men Association by creating their own ‘Stingy Women Association’ with the sole motive of denying men sexual favours.
The logo of the Sting Women shows a woman crossing and closing high thigh, meaning its game over for the Stingy men.
