A petrol tanker has exploded in Iyaganku area of Ibadan, Oyo state.
The fully loaded petrol tanker caught fire around Total Filling Station.
According to eye witnesses, the tanker fell into a ditch while trying to negotiate a bend. That was when its content emptied on the area and caught fire.
It is not yet clear the level of destruction of lives and properties the inferno caused.

Firefighters have arrived the scene trying to put out the fire.
