The Sports Minister, Sunday Dare, has appealed to #EndSARS protesters not allow hoodlums hijack the struggle and cause mayhem in the country.
He said that President Mohammadu Buhari has heard and was working as a father to offer solutions.
Dare, on Monday, briefed the President Buhari on the ongoing #EndSARS protests across the country.
According to the minister, “President Buhari again appealed to protesters to give the Federal Government time to address their demands as he urged protesters not to allow hoodlums to hijack the protests.”
Dare said that the president was concerned about the safety of all Nigerians and demanded that hoodlums should not be allowed to hijack the peaceful protest.
“He is concerned as a father and wants the youth to exercise patience and allow government to address their demands.”
The youths, he said, have rights to demand and live in a better country and to achieve that, they should be law-abiding in all they do.
