Edo State House of Assembly Speaker, Frank Okoye, representing Okiye representing Esan North-East II, has been impeached.
The impeachment on Monday October 12, 2020 came barely two weeks after the Edo State governorship election.
He was immediately replaced by Hon Marcus Onabun, representing Esan West constituency as the new speaker.

Lately, controversies have rocked the Edo State Assembly over speakership and Inuaguration of members.
