The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) former Deputy Governor, Dr. Obadiah Mailafiya, on Monday August 17, 2020, arrived the office of Department of State Services (DSS) in Jos, Plateau State.
Mailafiya, who was a guest of the DSS last week, was interrogated for six hours but later released unconditionally.
The Nation reports that DSS was said to have ordered fresh invitation to him.
Mailafiya, who arrived the DSS office at exactly 12:10pm, was in company of his wife, Margaret Vou, and lawyer, Yakubu Bawa.

On arrival, he said that he was not told the reason for the fresh invitation, adding, “I was not told the reason for this invitation but I have to honour the invitation as a loyal and obedient citizen of this country. I believe in this country.”
