The Democracy Networks for Aketi has congratulated the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer during the just concluded Primary election in the state.

In a statement signed by the Convener of Democracy Networks for Aketi, Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade in Akure, the state Capital yesterday said Governor Akeredolu victory affirmed the acceptability of his candidature by the party delegates and the good work his administration has been doing in the last three and half years in the state.

His words: “As a political group Democracy Network for Aketi (DNA) urges you to fly the party’s flag with courage and all the dignity it deserves. We therefore, pray that God will see you through, particularly, the forthcoming October 10 Gubernatorial election.

“DNA however, hails the spirit of sportsmanship displayed by those contestants who dropped their ambitions for your candidature. We also commend other Aspirants for accepting the outcome of the primaries” he said

Alade  also appealed to all party members to join hands to ensure the overwhelming victory in the October 10 general election.

“Your victory is heartwarming and I fervently believe that our Sunshine State will continue to witness more development as you continue in office. Your Second Term ambition is a pleasant project to DNA and we shall do all possible to actualise it,” he added

He therefore congratulated the wife of the Governor, Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu on her birthday anniversary and prayed that she will witnessed more years on earth.
