Femi Adeyinka popular as Capital Femi has said that his leaving Kennis Music has nothing to do with a feud as has been widely speculated online.
A statement signed by his PR team and made available to ‘TheNiche’ confirms the move but said the feud is a figment of the imagination of whoever concocted it.
“The artiste and his former label Kennis Music ended their business deal on a cordial relationship and there is no misunderstanding whatsoever between them,” the statement explained.
While explaining that there is no iota of truth in the reports that Capital FEMI left Kennis Music after his contract with the label expired, the statement said the artiste left on good terms for a good cause, which his former label’s CEO Dr. Kenny Ogungbe supports.
“We would wish that the public and all media put the record straight,” the statement concluded.
