Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has been arrested for hosting a 43rd birthday party for her husband, JJC Skillz, on Saturday in violation of the social distancing rules put in place by the government to control the coronavirus pandemic.
This was contained in a statement the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, DPO Bala Elkana. released on Sunday.
The statement reads, “The Attention of Lagos State Police Command was drawn to a viral video showing a large number of persons mainly in the entertainment industry in an Estate, along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki axis, Lagos celebrating a birthday party organised by Funke Akindele Bello and her husband…”
