The ravaging global pandemic, coronavirus, continues to hit the high and mighty in Nigeria.
On Saturday, Kaduna State governor, Nasir el-Rufai, became the latest high profile public official to be infected.
The governor who had placed the state on lockdown to mitigate the spread of the virus disclosed his status in a short video message on Saturday.

El-Rufai is the second governor to test positive for the coronavirus. Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed had earlier in the week tested positive. .
Nigeria curently has about 90 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Three of the cases have been discharged. while one has died.
