Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the spokesman to the president, Femi Adesina, as a sick man for allegedly saying that Nigerians should be thankful to God because the government of President Muhammadu Buhari has reduced bombings.

During an interview on Channels Television on Sunday January 26, Adesina had said: “It is not as bad as you make it seem … because we know what the situation was as of 2015 and we know what it is today despite the reversals in security, it is still not as bad as it used to be in this country

“Yes, there was a bomb or two today (Sunday). There was a time that there were five, six, ten bombings in a day in this country. Nigerians ought to be thankful for the job being done by the government.”

For making the comment, Fani-Kayode said Adesina has lost his ways, in series of tweet on January 27.

“No empathy for the suffering, no compassion, no decency, no decorum and no class. The truth is that you are a desperate and insensitive clown who is simply trying to hang on to his job

“Do you have to mock Nigerians like this and serve Buhari even at the expense of your self-respect, honour, dignity, reputation, family name and the cost of their lives?

“A few months ago, you said that we should give up our land to the barbaric and bloodthirsty terrorist or instead give up our lives and now you say this.

“You are a sick man Femi. Depraved and degraded in every sense and way and you are clearly suffering from what is known in biblical terms as a ‘Demastic’ anointing. You remember Demas in the Bible?

“That is who you are. You have sold your soul to the devil, turned your back on the path of light, abandoned the gospel, insulted and betrayed your elders and brothers in the faith, sold your heritage for a pottage like Esau, fallen in love with the things of the world & opted to tread the dark path.

“You were once a profoundly good man but your love and slavish devotion to your boss and the demons that have seized your mind, body, spirit and soul have utterly destroyed you. You have made your choice and you will live with the consequences of that decision,” he said.
