He regretted the extent of set back the problem which lack of money has  done the party even when nomination forms were given free of charge to some aspirants.

The party, he said, is more careful this time around not to fall prey to political Merchants who want to take control of the party for their personal interest.

His words: “The party is on the move to attract credible politicians who we think will have our type of ideology by setting up a Committee to chat the way forward for the party in the state”.

Even though the party was able to win Idanre/Ifedore Federal constituency seat in the 2019 general election, he lamented that the party could had done better if there were credible people that could assist the party with enough logistics.

He how ever appealed to people of proven integrity to rescue the party to win more seats, adding that complainants should register their grievances to the party for necessary action since blackmail will serve no purpose.

While reacting to cases of anti party activities in the last election,  he regretted the level at which some candidates who had no money to pay for nomination forms went out to sell their conscience to work for candidates of other parties.

The Sheron of Idanre in Idanre local government said there was no grass root support and no money to kick start the party because politics in Nigeria has being monetised.

He however commended the efforts of the finding father of the party and the immediate past National Chairman, Chief Olu Falae who he said  built the party to the present status even as some dedicated members decided to shun all temptations to dump the party and join other parties.

While expressing the hope that the likes of Dr. Olu Agunloye who has remained in the party will bring succour, he lamented that the exit of Chief Falae has left a great vacuum within the party.
