The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Muhammade Buhari, has defeated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Nasarawa State with a slim margin of 6,056 votes in the weekend’s presidential election.
The APC candidate polled a total vote of 289,903 as against PDP’s 283,847 votes, representing 20 per cent.
This is the first time incumbent president Buhari will win in Nasarawa State.
In 2015, he polled 236, 838 votes against the then PDP’s Goodluck Jonathan, who polled 273, 460 votes.
