The Founder, Fountain of Joy Outreach Ministry and Public Relations Officer (PRO), Vote Okezie Again (VOA) Umuahia North zone, Deacon Iheanyichukwu Echewodo, has asked Abians to go out en masse on Saturday, February 23, 2019 to vote and not to be indifferent.

He said that the stakes were quite high in the election, while urging all voters with their PVCs to exercise their right to elect candidates of their choice.

It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on February 16, 2019 rescheduled the Presidential and National Assembly elections to hold Saturday.

To that effect, Echewodo asked Abians to vote for candidates of their choice, Atiku Abubakar for president on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as well as Senator Theodore Orji, former governor of the state for Abia Central, and Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for governorship.

He said that Atiku has all it takes to bring back the glory of Nigeria which President Muhammadu Buhari has squandered on the altar of incompetence and deep division in the land.

“Never in the history of Nigeria has the people badly divided as they are today,” he lamented.

Echewodo described the postponed election as embarrassing to both Nigerians and the international community.

He called for an inquiry into what led to the re-scheduling of the 16th February poll for the presidential and national assembly.

He expressed worry that the ruling party was resorting to desperate measures, advising Abians to be vigilant and to guide their votes.

He told The Niche that Nigerians would enter into a higher level of suffering if they fail to get the election right by voting for Atiku.
