Big Brother Naija 2018 second runner up, Tobi Bakre’s horse photoshoot has set tongues wagging on social media.
While some accused the ex-BBN housemate of animal cruelty, the photoshoot has sparked internet memes.
In the photoshoot posted on his Instagram page, Tobi is seen mounted on a horse standing on water with one of his hands holding the reigns and another tightly holding onto the horse’s throat.
Social media users said he should be arrested for choking the horse while others called him Pegasus slayer.
Tobi reacted to the backlash saying the horse lost balance. He explained via a tweet.
“The horse jumped when I wasn’t quite expecting. I was losing balance. The horse was losing balance. The picture was taken in-between trying to gain balance. After which I lost all the balance.”
”Pls. No animal cruelty here o. My country people sha,” he tweeted.
He posted another video of him showing how the incident happened which saw him crashing into the body of water where the shoot took place.
