Lebanese woman uses EFCC vest for robbery

Amira Abdullahi, 32-year-old Lebanese, wife and mother of four, has been arrested along with five other suspects for robberies of N20m in Lagos and Abuja.

 

 

Other suspects who have been identified as Bassey Ekpenyong, 39, Royal Nwabuike, 32, Daniel Okpara, 30, Paul Irior, 37, and Princewill Eze, 55, with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) vests.

Gang leader, Eze, led to the arrest of the Lebanese woman and the other four.

According to a statement made available to Leadership, N4m, $13,000, one single-barrelled pistol with four cartridges, six vehicles, and a bryco pistol with sic rounds of 5.56mm ammunition.

 

 

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Kayode Aderanti, revealed that “we have recovered several items which the suspects procured with the proceeds of their robbery escapades. Eze, the ring leader, built a hotel in Ed, while other members also have houses in Delta, Ogun and Lagos states”.
