Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, has paid glowing tribute to sacked Jose Mourinho and told him to forget the last few months and remember his successes.
Mourinho was sacked 48 hours after Manchester United was defeated by Liverpool.
“He’s a very competitive guy, very ambitious,” he said. “He has all my respect. Unbelievably successful. I can imagine the last few months especially were not a joy for nobody, especially not for him.
“It’s not nice if you have to face all these questions every day, that’s the problem.
“Nobody can take away all the things he won from him. I wish he personally has that in his mind when he leaves and not the few other things which happened in the last few months,” Klopp said.
Klopp said Mourinho is an outstanding manager and he has no idea about other things people say about him.
United has lined up top managers for interview to replace Mounrinho but said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will take over at United on an interim basis.
