He also said that President Goodluck Jonathan had written his name in gold by conceding defeat and congratulated Buhari.

“This was a rare feat achieved by Jonathan and the first gesture of its kind in Nigeria, Africa and many parts of the world,” he said.

Danmadamin-Isa said: “Change is always difficult and sometimes unpalatable.

“All Nigerians must patriotically brace up for this and render the necessary support to the incoming government.

“Nigerians have bestowed tremendous confidence in Buhari and the APC by entrusting him with their hard-earned mandate.

“But, the most important things required to enable Buhari and the party to justify the huge confidence are fervent prayers and absolute patience from them.’’

On April 11 Governorship and state Assembly elections, Danmadamin-Isa said: “We are also ready for the polls and the APC would repeat the March 28 feats, God willing.’’
