At 4pm, no election result has been announced in Ondo state. This has further created tension in all the Collation Centres in the state.
However, the Resident Electoral Commissioners, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje has dispelled rumour that results of the elections in the state are being manipulated to favour a certain political party.
According to him, the results are being delayed due to the numbers of polling units in the state saying that electorate particularly politicians should be patient with the Commission as the votes are being collated from all units and wards across the state.
“Let me say it categorically that nobody can manipulate the result, I want the people of the state to be patient with us as counting is still going on, it was due to large number of polling units we have in the state.
