The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned a middle-aged man, Samuel Akpan, for defiling 16-year-old Simbi.
Akpan was arraigned at the High Court of Lagos State in the Ikeja Judicial Division (Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence) before Justices S. O Nwaka.
The charge sheet reads that Samuel Akpan, on June 16, 2016, defiled 16-year-old Simbi by having a sexual intercourse with her at Makor Street, Ayobo, Lagos.

The defendant pleaded not guilty. The case was adjourned October 8 for hearing.
