How two students’ bodies were found weeks after missing

-

Decomposing bodies of two students of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State have been found several weeks after they were declared missing.

The victims, Adebisi Oriade aka ‘Oh Dollar’ and Juliana George, were found inside a bush at Oru-Ijebu, the next community to Ago-Iwoye.

Adebisi and Juliana, believed to be lovers, were said to be on a date when they disappeared.

A student of OOU, who pleaded anonymity, said the victims were killed by cult members.

Adebisi, the source said, was the main target of the cultists. She said: “Juliana was unfortunate to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. One of the cult members had demanded money from Oh Dollar but he refused to give him.

“The cult member threatened to deal with him.”

Adebisi was said to be a 300 level Computer Science while Juliana was a diploma student studying Political Science.

“Oh Dollar took his girlfriend, Juliana, out on a date late last month. But they did not return several days later so they were declared missing.

“His car was later found with the doors opened but there was no sign of Adebisi and Juliana. Their bodies were discovered on Tuesday,” another student said.

The student, who also did not want her name mentioned, said Adebisi allegedly acquired his wealth through ‘Yahoo Yahoo’. The OOU Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Niyi Oduwole, could not be reached on the phone at press time. But a top official of the institution, who craved anonymity, confirmed the story. The official said that the two students were declared missing about a month ago.

“We learnt that they were killed by Yahoo Plus guys. But we don’t know if the killers are students of this institution or not. I think the police would determine that,” the official said.

When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the killing and the discovery.

He, however, said that he had no details yet. But a top police officer in the command said that the police had already arrested some suspects in connection with the killing.
