Nemanja Matic has revealed exactly what was written on the note that Jose Mourinho passed onto him during the latter stages of Manchester United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.
The instructions, which were handed over to Matic by substitute Eric Bailly, became a source of intrigue on social media especially after Willian was seen attempting to sneak a candid glimpse.
However, the United midfielder has now divulged the message given to him by his manager in a photo shared on Instagram: “You have three days off”.
Tongue pressed firmly in cheek there, we presume!
